About

At The Aesthetta Clinic, we specialise in cutting-edge Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy for the scalp to combat hair loss and thinning. Our expert Medical Doctors use advanced techniques to harness the healing power of your own platelets, stimulating hair growth and restoring your natural hair density. It is a minimally invasive procedure with minimal downtime.

Why choose us for PRP?

Platelet Boot Camp: To maximize the effectiveness of our PRP therapy, we offer our 'Platelet Boot Camp', unique to The Aesthetta Clinic. This bespoke program includes tailored IV infusions designed to optimize platelet health 48 hours before your PRP session. By enhancing your platelet quality, we optimise your chances of PRP success.

We are partnered with PRP PURE who provide us with the only UK produced PRP kit. We also use an FDA approved and CE marked centrifuge, so you can rest assured that you are receiving the highest quality PRP treatment.

What is PRP?

PRP therapy involves drawing a small amount of the patient’s blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and then injecting this platelet-rich plasma back into the skin. The high concentration of growth factors in PRP helps stimulate the body's natural healing processes.

How does PRP Therapy work?

  1. Blood Collection: A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient.

  2. Centrifugation: The blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the other components.

  3. PRP Injection: The concentrated PRP is injected into the target areas of the skin.

Why do we love PRP here at The Aesthetta Clinic?

  1. Autologous Treatment: Since PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood, there is minimal risk of allergic reactions or rejection.

  2. Growth Factor Stimulation: PRP is rich in growth factors that play a crucial role in tissue repair and regeneration, including PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor), TGF (Transforming Growth Factor), and VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor).

  3. Versatility: PRP can be used on various parts of the body, including the face, neck, hands, and scalp as well as the scalp.

  4. Natural Results: PRP therapy promotes natural healing processes, leading to gradual improvements and subtle, natural-looking results.

  5. Minimal Downtime: Minimally invasive, non surgical intervention.

How many sessions do we recommend?

We recommend an initial treatment course of once a month for 3 months, followed by 3-4 monthly treatments afterwards. Our Platelet Bootcamp Drip, included complementary with all PRP sessions (should you wish to include this) is administered approximately 48 hours prior to each procedure.
